There was a day, that mentioning the words 'religion and paranormal' in the same breath may brand one a devil-loving person to be avoided at all costs. (Generally speaking).
It is nice to know that as time and our society has progressed, so have discriminating minds. I see the effects on different social sites.
Occasionally I get friend requests that are in fact an extremely religious channel/user. I find it very intriguing. They must know that I am a paranormal investigator/paranormal writer because the evidence is pretty much plastered all over my Youtube channel and my much neglected Myspace page.
To me, if I had lived back in the days that the subject of ghosts and and the like were a bad thing, I would not have taken the same views as former-day society. I hesitate to say this but I will anyhow.
From wikipedia.. very well put in my opinion:
"Paranormal is a general term that describes unusual experiences that lack a scientific explanation, or phenomena alleged to be outside of science's current ability to explain or measure."
I mention this because, is not a man walking on water or turning water to wine beyond scientific explanation? Food for thought.
An example of progressing times; The Vatican itself now says it is 'ok' for Catholics to believe in UFOs. =)
